You know how to spend your money better than the government does. I will slash government waste that runs rampant in our systems and cut your taxes so that you have more money back in your wallets.

From the property tax on our cars - of which Virginia has the highest rate in the nation - everyone can use some relief from the government's hands in your pockets. Lowering the gas and grocery taxes will also help ease the burden on families across the district.

Jobs & The Economy

Fostering growth in our economy will make our community stronger and more affordable. These past few years have been tough on every single Virginian whether it’s how much more we spend on groceries every week, how much more we pay for basic goods and services, or even how much we pay for the roof over our heads. Cutting burdensome red tape for small businesses and removing ridiculous regulations is key to bringing better-paying jobs to Hampton Roads.

Agriculture

Farmers are the backbone of Virginia and the entire country. Now more than ever, farmers struggle to keep up with inflation and the government has not done enough to help them through tough times. It’s time we stand shoulder to shoulder with the farmers in our community and commit to cutting burdensome regulations and providing tax relief for those who keep food on our tables and clothes on our backs.

Education

I believe that every child deserves the best and safest education. In Richmond, I will work to ensure that parents have a voice when it comes to their children’s education, and we have more opportunities to send our children to the schools that best fit their needs. I will also fight to make our schools safer by voting for programs that add and reinforce additional safety measures.

Public Safety

Our community is strong when our community is safe. For too long, Democrats' tough-on-nothing policies have left us vulnerable. I will fight for smart-on-crime policy, prioritize our public safety, and I will push for more funding for Virginia’s law enforcement officers and all of our first responders so that they have the resources they need to keep our families safe.
