Felisha Storm grew up as one of seven children, where she learned the values that continue to guide her today—hard work, the scarcity and worth of a dollar, and the importance of serving others. Her commitment to community and service took root early and has defined her life ever since.
After graduating high school in 2012, Felisha pursued her passion for public service by attending Sweet Briar College, where she earned a degree in Government in 2017. While in college, she volunteered and interned on numerous local and gubernatorial campaigns, which ignited a lasting dedication to advocacy and policy. Her political acumen was further sharpened as a graduate of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership, where she honed skills in problem-solving, politics, and policy creation.
Parallel to her academic and political work, Felisha also answered the call to serve more directly—becoming a volunteer firefighter and EMT, roles that reflect her hands-on dedication to protecting and uplifting her community. Felisha's leadership trajectory continued when she became the youngest elected member of the Vermont General Assembly at just 23 years old. Over two terms, she faithfully served her constituents, taking a strong stand against record government spending and fighting for affordability amongst a cost-of-living crisis. She became a fierce advocate for local control of schools, educational choice, and the protection of Constitutional rights—especially the right to bear arms.
Her more than decade-long commitment to service extended beyond elected office. Felisha has served on numerous boards and nonprofits, always working alongside neighbors to push for meaningful change. She brought her grassroots experience to a nonprofit focused on reducing barriers to freedom and prosperity, where she traveled across Virginia educating citizens on civic engagement and mobilizing communities to influence state policy. She helped elect policy champions and built local networks to strengthen Virginia’s promise as a place where families can thrive.
Today, Felisha resides in Suffolk with her husband, an Army veteran. She works across Hampton Roads as a REALTOR and small business owner, helping families achieve the American Dream. As a candidate for the 84th District, which includes Suffolk, Isle of Wight, Franklin, and parts of Chesapeake, she offers a new era of leadership grounded in integrity, innovation, and deep community roots. She is focused on strengthening the economy, lowering taxes and fees, and fostering an environment where families and businesses can prosper.
